Yes, No or Maybe So? Can't decide.

Susan Marek

Not choosing is a choice.  You are choosing not to choose, which is a decision.  I have a hard time making decisions sometimes.  It could be regarding my budget, a business decision, or where to go to dinner.  I think this indecisiveness is sometimes caused by my fear of disappointing someone or fear of making the wrong decision.  If I don't decide, then I don't take the chance that I could be wrong.  What I have learned that no choice can be wrong, too.  Like when you can't decide at a restaurant between the steak and the chicken, so you make no choice and let your companion choose for you.  They choose the fish for you, and you end up eating something you hate.  Not that this has ever happened...

Make a choice. Be decisive.  Use your intuition to guide you and then trust in your decision.  You may make some bad ones, but at least you have taken charge of your fate.  Better to be the driver and make a wrong turn than a passenger stuck in the back with no air conditioning and no say in where you are stopping to eat.  I must be hungry with all these food references.  Hmmm.  Should I have the pasta or the salad?

Decisions, decisions!

Susan Marek

When faced with an important decision, it is natural for us to ask others for their advice and opinions.  Sometimes, we agonize over making the right choice and become stressed and anxious because of it.  In the end, it is not what your parents, your spouse, your children, your best friend, your therapist or the checker at the grocery store have to say about your choice. It is all about YOU and what YOU think is the best course of action.  YOU are in charge of your path.  Pay attention to what your heart is telling you.  You know what you need to do.  TRUST your intuition.  I have yet to find someone who regrets a decision that came from their heart.

Remember that your angels and guides, who are messengers of God, are with you to support you and lend a helping hand.  They are full of great advice and many of them LOVE to talk.  The catch is you have to ASK for help.  They cannot help you until you ask because you have free will to make decisions and they can't infringe on that right.  Ask for help, but stay empowered, and remember that you are the one who knows what is best for you.
